The centre can provide a whole host of activities and study options for visiting groups. The location lends its self well to Geography & Geology groups of all ages, with glaciated valleys, river valleys, limestone pavement, large cave complexes, waterfalls, visible faults, mountains and woodlands all within a short distance. Almost any outdoor activity can be arranged these include, but are not limited to; caving, climbing, canoeing, gorge walking, mountain walking, mountain biking and mountain boarding. We can also provide visits to some of the historical features within the Brecon Beacons National Park such as; castles, iron-age hill forts, roman encampments, and standing stones.
The Centre is committed to considering the environmental impacts of any of its activities, and works to reduce these impacts where ever possible. Dulwich College Field Centre is proud to be one of the founding members of the Outdoor Professionals Co-Operative, and committed to its environmental stance for work in the outdoor sector. The Centre has achieved the Level 2 in the Green Dragon Environmental Standards Award, and is working towards Level 3.
